Sponsor an Elder: What Monthly Sponsorship Actually Covers

A line-by-line look at what monthly sponsorship of one elder covers at our homes — meals, medicines, caregiving, and dignity.

Sponsor an Elder: What Monthly Sponsorship Actually Covers

Monthly sponsorship is the most reliable way to support an old age home for the needy. At Blooming Heartz, your sponsorship covers one elder's complete care — and here's exactly what that means.

Food

Three home-cooked vegetarian meals a day, plus tea and seasonal fruit. Rice, dal, vegetables, curd, oil and basic groceries are bought in bulk.

Medicine and medical care

Daily blood pressure / diabetic medication, occasional antibiotics, monthly doctor consultation, and emergency hospital escort when needed.

Shelter and bedding

Share of rent, electricity, water, clean linen and toiletries. A clean bed and a private space are not luxuries — they're foundational.

Caregiving

A share of the salaries paid to our caregivers who are present 24×7, bathe residents who need help, and sit with those who can't sleep at night.

Sponsor for a month, a year, or in memory of a loved one. Reach out to get the best quote for your sponsorship — we'll email a personal note about the elder you're supporting, and an 80G receipt for your taxes.

Help us continue this work.
