On 07 December 2024, the team at Blooming Heartz Charity Foundation came across an elderly woman, Gangammal, abandoned and struggling to survive on the roadside near Valluru, Ongole platform. Frail, helpless and with no family or relatives to care for her, she was left begging just to stay alive.
Day after day, Gangammal faced hunger, loneliness and the harsh reality of life on the streets. With no shelter and no one to turn to, her condition was heartbreaking.
When our rescue team found her, we knew we could not leave her behind. She was immediately brought to safety and admitted to our old age home in Ongole, where she received food, medical care and the love and dignity she deserved.
Today, Gangammal is living a healthy and peaceful life under our care. Her journey reminds us that no one should have to spend their final years abandoned and forgotten.
